Concrete is very strong and solid material, but the can be judged much softer because of its flat colour. Nolans painting shows and immitates a principle, which is very strong and solid.


Swallow has showed an open and loose work that can be presented on materials such as glass: because of its transparancy but sold at the same time, flexibility, but can be rigid if it wishes to, plastic: when you think about plastic flexibility and softness appears, it can be true but at the same time can be pretty rigid.
